HOT DOG & CO. was founded based upon the observation that Washingtonville's quaint Main Street needed more eateries to add to its small-town charm and ambience. A family-friendly, affordable place that harkens back to a bygone era while simultaneously, being at the forefront of today's fast-paced social climate. Our opening coincides with a time of fiscal turmoil in our country and Americans look to the future with trepidation. It is precisely at times like this, that a humble, little shop such as ours is needed. We believe that HOT DOG & CO. is a place that fulfills the innate desire in people to revert back to a simpler, more innocent era...a time to remember and appreciate. We hope to fill that niche for you; let's celebrate America with some patriotism, hot dogs and nostalgia!
What We Do (click here for audio accompaniment):
Our main goal is to make hot dogs and make them well, then serve them with a smile. Our customers are very important to us; if not for them, we wouldn't be here. That's why we provide a variety of items on our menu and also offer incentives for you to come back again and again.
Our menu board is chock-full of hot dogs, toppings, specialty dogs, etc. Some of our toppings include:
- Bacon bits
- Shredded cheddar or cheese sauce
- Jalapeños
- Chopped onions
- Homemade meat sauce
- NY Pushcart-style Onion Sauce
And the list goes on!
We also have on our menu:
- Nachos with a wide variety of toppings
- Soft, warm Pretzels
- Movie Theatre Style Popcorn
- NY Egg Creams-we make our own seltzer here...for some extra sparkle!
- Coca-Cola beverages, including Coca-Cola in glass bottles (ahhhhh, just like the good old days!)
There is something here to tempt the inner child in everyone.
